About Chandan Kumar

I have worked in digital marketing since 17 January 2008 — 18 years, most of them spent inside Google Ads accounts. What began as general digital marketing narrowed, over time, into the thing I kept being asked to fix: paid search that was spending money without producing customers.

That is still the work. I take on accounts where the spend is real but the return is not, find out whether the problem is tracking, structure, the offer or the landing page, and then fix it. Most of the time the answer is unglamorous — a conversion action counting the wrong thing, a campaign structure that made sense to whoever built it but not to the people searching, a landing page asking for too much too early.

I work directly with the accounts I take on. There is no team of juniors between you and the person making the changes, which is both the main advantage of working with me and the reason I take on a limited number of clients at a time.

Where I work

I am based between New Delhi and Garhwa, Jharkhand, and work remotely with businesses in India, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Germany and Netherlands. Most engagements run over video calls and shared reporting, in whichever timezone the client keeps.

What I also run

Beyond client work I run two ventures: Global Info Edge — Digital marketing and web engineering company serving businesses across India and overseas and CK Mehta — Done-for-you digital lead generation for Tour & Travel and Hospitality businesses. This site is the personal one: who I am, what I have actually done, and what I have learned worth writing down.
